Our Story
Owner (Pitmaster), Malik Garris
Serving and grilling have always been my passions, going back as far as I can remember. I've had multiple people tell me my ribs are amazing at innumerable family and friend get-togethers! They had no idea that I had been using my custom-made secret rub. I thus founded my company because I love to grill barbecue and I've mastered the art of combining the greatest and most unusual seasonings and spices to create the ideal rub!
My goal was to build a family business that I could continue to run for many generations. And once my spouse and I welcomed Samantha Ray into the world, it dawned on me to launch Sammy Rays BBQ!
